Model number question

Hello,

New member here with a time sensitive question.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2010 Access Cab and I have a few dealers courting me.
Looking at the bills of lading they sent me, one has a model number of 7113A with a base cost of $19,205 and the other has a model number of 7113C with a base cost of $19,380.

It looks like the 7113A doesn't come with floor mats, if I look at the options section.

Are there any other differences?

I would say that is the only difference. The mats and door sill protectors come out to about that price. I would skip the mat option- they are not worth the $$$ and way over priced, and get dirty too fast. Save the money on the overall cost and buy a set of Weathertech digital fit floor liners instead. Enjoy your new truck!!!!!!

FWIW, I looked at the Weathertech digital fits and they had a warning box saying they didn't fit the manual transmition.

Ah, well, I'm sure there are other options out there.

Now I'm thinking it is *not* the floor mats because they are called out in the accessories section.
Hmm. I'm probably making a mountain out of a molehill, but that's just my nature when I'm about to plunk down a big wad of cash.

Anyone else have any insight?

Well- what I would do is either 1. go to Toyota.com and actually build your truck on there. See what the price ends up being and then play around by adding a few of the accessories until the price matches the models you are looking at.
2. Do what I did and have a salesmen where the trucks are email you the window sticker print outs of both trucks you are looking at- basically an email version of the window sticker. Very handy to get at home. Good luck!

Request a print out of what you are about to buy. If it's only floor mats, skip em and buy the WeatherTechs. If you are getting a manual trans you will have to trim the mat but so what, these mats are well worth it and a number of members have bought and trimmed them and would not consider another mat.

FWIW y'all, I have what are called "Vehicle Inquiry Reports" for the two trucks from the two different dealers. That's how I even knew there were different model numbers (7113A vs. 7113C). Scanning through the two documents, the trucks look pretty much the same. The base price is a couple of hundred higher on the C and it has floor mats as a Port option (reflected in the options price). The A actually has mats as a Dealer install (reflected as a separate line item at the bottom).

I called a third dealer and asked him what the difference between 7113A and 7113C was and he said it was just a 'revision' number. ???

Also the A is black and the C is Mag Grey Metallic. Maybe the color adds to the base price?

At this point, I'm pretty sure I am going to get the A since it is black. For all you Mag Grey owners out there, that was a close second choice, so I hope we can still be friends.
