Yeah probably. Feel sorry for the next bastard that has to wade through all of this to find a solution.

Solition: drink two tall boys, ask hot neighbor to look at her Tacoma to see if she has the part. She didn't
Take long flat head screw driver and hammer it into the lock. Put 19 mm ratchet on the screw driver handle and ratchet the damn tire off. Keep screw driver and ratchet set handy for changing tires

Ban OP. I can look past the tire issue but lack of photo, completely uncalled for!

OP, go knock on "hot neighbor's" door when he/she answers show them this thread... ask to take a picture so you can post it. If he/she is cool we'll get the picture we deserve and you'll get a date. If he/she isn't cool we are no worse off.

Now to see if I can get the rusted bolt out of the shackle. Can't get my breaker bar between gas tank and nut. 19 mm wrench doesn't give me near enough torq. I'll probably skip using a blow torch 1/2 inch from the gas tank and just cut it off with a grinder

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Picture of the neighbor or I'm not helping you.

    OME and worth every penny.
Just take the screwdriver and pry the 'lock' portion off. It's a pain in the ass even with the key.
You could then just use the hook like everyone else who didn't have 'the theft prevention devise'

or maybe it's the end of the rod, I forget. Anyway, I got rid of mine.
