The color blue is difficult for the eyes because of its short wavelength. It averages about 400-450nm (nanometers) which is difficult to see in detail from farther distances. Violet light only being worse than blue. On the other side of the spectrum is red. It has the longest wavelength in around 700nm. This is why from tail lights to lights on top of tall buildings are red, so they can be seen from far away distances. But these are indication lights, not light for visibility, or in other words, light to be seen not to see. The best visible light is actually a white with a very slight yellow, about 4000K to 4200K. Stock halogens are 3800K, factory DOT approved Xenon runs at 4300K.

Since they are your fog lights you could just run with them off on the street and turn them on when no oncoming cars are an issue.

You can also use the silver piece that the tailgate latches shut onto. Works great as a bottle opener.

That must be why looking at blue LED Christmas lights is so hard on my eyes. It's as if I can't actually focus on them, and it's like they are slightly out of phase with everything around them and they seem to be slightly "unreal", which is the best way I can describe it.

Reminds me of when i used to do drugs and i had blue interior lights. My pupils were severely dilated so the blue light helped even them out! o_O

They are LUX Lighting Systems MAX Leds... I ran the wire from the switch pros panel, up through the cavity lines in the hood, and out through a couple holes that we drilled. Clean, organized, and functional.

That's EXACTLY what I wanted to do with the trim rings on my dash, but I just didn't feel confident enough to try to tear the whole thing apart to get them off to paint them. Doing the center trim was hard enough...

Got tired of looking at the wear on my center console / shifter bezel. Took it out and cleaned it up. Used some 1E7 color match paint and vinyl wrap. I like it... next I'll do the vent trim on either side of the radio, and the instrument cluster rings.
