I had Lug centric originally cause that's all Allpro had at the time. But any speed over 50mph I'd get a shimmy. Tried to balance the spacers 3 times, but I couldn't get it right so I returned them. Now that Allpro makes them Hubcentric, I think I'm going to repurchase them and give it a second go.

Um, I am not so sure about that..? I thought I read somewhere they were Lug Centric, and when I got mine balanced by the hub they weren't balanced correctly. I had to re-do it with the little fingerplate..

Finger plate is probably not the right name.. this thing. [IMG]

BTW, I want to carify.. I don't know what I am talking about but with my personal experience.. I couldn't get rid of my vibes until they used this to balance the wheel. Also.. that magic term "lug centric" was used, and then they used this "finger plate" in conjunction with the balancing machine.. after that.. Vibe was gone. took 3 Discount Tire visits at two locations before they used this damn thing.

No, they did not. Just used that fingerplate, and it was perfect afterwards.. my 55-65 steering wheel vibes were gone.

    thanks silverback

no worries samster, there's a lot of stuff to keep straight with our truck, happens to all of us.

that's cool that the fingerplate worked so well. i'll keep it in mind. i've had good luck with road force ballancing, but if it ever doesn't work, i'll ask about the fingerplate.
