I hear ya. My youngest is teething and has a cold. Wakes up screaming and screeching every hour or two. My oldest has been waking up every night anywhere between 2 and 4:30 asking for mommy every time. She's too heavy of a sleeper to hear him and wake up, so I end up waking up and am able to get him back asleep by laying down with him for a bit. He's almost 3 and already sleeps on a full size bed thankfully!

 

Man, my 9-month old sleeps through the night (7 PM - 6 AM) and is out like a light. Started at 3 months old and has not let up.....I fear I am taking it for granted, but its almost making me consider another one.

We figured on his 1 year birthday we will not try, but be less careful. Gotta get the second one out soon so I can go get my garden supply line "dealt" with.

 

My youngest, who is now 1 year old, started sleeping through the night at about the same time as yours. Definitely a nice perk for sure! I guess every child is different... my oldest, who is now 3, was waking up all the time for a long time.

He really only started sleeping through the night when we put him in a full size bed last summer, right before he turned 2.

 

Yeah I've got caffeine pill that do the job for me. One pill = 2 cups of coffee. One of those plus my morning coffee and I can usually make it till lunch. Today I made the mistake of having chipotle though. Feels like a brick in my belly pulling me towards a bed.

Just went out for a smoke and could barely muster up the willpower to get back through the door... Damn it's nice out there!

 

Now I feel like I'm getting a migraine

 

It's a trap! My first one slept through the night almost from newborn. We had to wake him up to feed him. The second one is a much different story. He finally started doing better around 9 months to a year but the first stretch was terrible!

 

I wouldn't know. I haven't been outside at all today

The guy that I work with is in Florida this week and the guy that is supposed to back him up was out delivering parts all day on Tuesday and until 2:30 yesterday. Today he's not here because he went to Portugal last night. So this week the only breaks I have had was Monday at 12:00 for a half an hour (that I stayed in and helped him) and yesterday at 2:30 for 20 minutes.

No I've never been there but just saw something about them yesterday or today. I used to work at Guitar Center in Boston and I got to meet a bunch of cool people. I have been drooling over this website today. Most of the snares on here were made by a wizard named Rob Kampa who used to be in Brockton MA. I met him a bunch of times and most of the kits on that site were reconditioned by a place not far from here - Village Drums in RI.

 

Did you work at the one in fenway on Boylston?

 

Its a hike from where you are but you should make the trip sometime to check out DCP, they a have a "snare drum wall" which is exactly what it sounds like haha. But that website has some purdy stuff, I like the local connection too. My dad and I have refinished his part of his old drumset and he has made several cajon "box drums" as well as an acrylic snare which is the one I use most.

 

Nope before that. I worked at the one on Commonwealth Ave when it was in the middle of Boston University

I'm trying to figure out how to get a cajon as part of the decor in the new house.

 

Paint it whatever, or use printable sticker designs on the face/top of it. We have an American themed one that's pretty cool.

 

All this music talk just made me go dust off my guitar. I've always been pretty terrible, but I've gotten somehow worse.

Muscle memory helped me remember a bunch of Finch's first album though...I love that album so much.

Might have to do just that. I'm trying to convince my wife to buy some of these pieces.
