I don't know man. I like toyota. Like the trucks. always have *spits chew
I wanted to NOT fuck with this truck like I did my other toyotas. Especially when you have to install a bushing to correct what you done fucked up the angles and whutnot. But I couldn't resist. I removed the shocks and installed new top hat lugs and I put this little teeny toytec spacer at the tippy top. Maybe a C Hair over 1/2 inch, I don't know. Measuring is for ridgline owners. But I HEARD it's a 3/4 to 1 inch gain at the nose. Again I didn't measure because it was leg day. I had shit to do. But it's a nice little lift. Nothing (that I know of) that's going to throw my mysterious front end parts all cattywampus. And at the end of the day, that's worth it to me. To not over-bro. Mind you I would never do a vertical 6 inch lift. That's absurd. I'm a fan of lifting sideways. Length of travel bro. But under no circumstances was I gonna DO THAT SHIT THIS TIME. And I'm happy how it turned out Looks like a proper yota. But here's the thing. A week ago, I went into the dealership. I was all like "hey bros sup with an early oil change" and... they happily obliged. In my head it's just nicer to get the first one early. Don't care about the science. so yeah fast forward a few days and I've got my hand up my trucks skirt, and I'm like "shit man now I have to align it. There was a heavy duty hunter machine like 30 ft away but I was like fuck that noise its chest day today foo. For some reason I'm an ace at aligning heavy equipment but I'm dogs balls at passenger vehicles. Who cares. So I went to the dealer and I was all like "sup bros can I get an alignment? I did this thing and then this other thing... "
Pfffffff the didn't bat an eyelash. They put it on the rack (they were all hella admiring my grill) and went to work. Toe was out, that was it. I rambled. Because toyota may be dicks, but I don't know what you gotta do to push them to that point. I guess there's lemons, I consider myself lucky toyota and I are bros.
