Anyone with a welder help me out? The tabs on the lower eccentric got bent on all 4 sides while getting an alignment. They said go to a body shop to have them bend it back throw a bead there.

    Money or beers or both?

Had a good weekend with much help from a buddy and got some serious work done on the truck. Installed 887s with 5100's, LR UCA and Dakar pack. Installed Body Armor runners (dont let the name fool you they are bolt on but I knew that). Got my Cooper Maxx 255/85/16 mounted. Did some lighting work in the form of LED running lights and anytime fog lights mod. Also HomerTaco's beautiful grill showed up and it is amazing.

Mine finally came in the mail today. Couldn't wait to try it out so I deflated a truck tire (285 75 17) and pumped it back up and was very quick quiet and no problem of the hose being to stiff or short. All tho the gauge sucks I think. All though my tire pressure gauge sucks also.

I was looking at the powder vision place the other day, reviews I could find seemed good. But maybe I will skip it and go to North Bend

So, here's a lesson in how to piss Jim the fuck off.

I've had my truck serviced three times at Toyota Renton, once at Doxon, once at Puyallup. The grease fitting at the transfer case end of the front shaft, never been touched. My truck has 30k on it, and that fitting was never greased. WTF? I'm never letting a dealership service my anything ever again.

My buddy had a Cummins common rail that had lifetime service agreement. I had a similar truck but a year newer. He can to me and told me he's been having power problems with the truck. Turns out they never serviced the secondary fuel filter.... ever.... starving the injectors. the paperwork told that they did... he raised questions about it and they pretty much told him to f off.

I always crawled under it and looked after it was done, but never got super anal. A little fresh grease on 1 fitting and I figured it was good. Not so much.

If you were getting it aligned and a shop screwed up the tabs, make them pay to fix it. Their screw up is their responsibility to fix.

Same here. I know exactly what has been done. Plus its a good time to actually look things over which dealers never do (ie fuel lines, ball joints, ect). I do have one independent place I go if its something i cant do (A/C for instance). but my dads been going there for like 40 years and knows the owner, owners kid and a few of the mechanics.

I took my truck in under warranty for a dead battery. They paid to tow it to them instead of letting me bring the battery to them. While there they decided to do an oil change and then claimed they had to replace something (i forget what exactly) due to "animals". Mind you truck was always parked in the garage at that point. I called BS and told them to show me the part which they said was buried in the trash now. Then i refused to pay it as they never had my authorization to do the "repair" anyways. Wasnt till i was about to call the cops for them not giving my truck back that they finally gave me my keys and i left without paying anything. Never been back.

I have always had good experiences at Toyota in Bellevue. It seems like they really care about the service side. So far their customer service has been great. But I have only had 3 out of my 6 free oil changes done so far. I also bought a couple small parts that I needed quick and they seemed fairly priced. They sold me tires and rims from a 3rd Gen offroad "used" (less then 25 miles) for $650. Turned around and sold the tires for $500. They seem pretty soild.

I took my truck to Toyota in Tacoma for a oil change 1 time because it was a hectic month and it was due. So before I left, I popped my hood open and checked if they changed the filter. Nope I had the same filter on there because I always write the mileage on every filter before I install it. I asked for the tech who changed my filter if he changed it and straight to my face he said yes. I told him to follow me to my truck. When he saw that my hood was open he told me he didn't even do it. The Manager heard what was going on and he said I could have 2 free oil changes and I told him to fuck off and I never went back there again.

Seems par for the course as your truck is new and can be claimed warranties against Toyota NA, so they make money just for you walking in the door. Of course they are going to be nice to you...

My experience with Micheal's Toyota in Bellevue is less than stellar:
Drove my 03 DCSB 4x4 already modded into the service bay for my first Toyota service experience with a Toyota.
Stood there for 15 minutes while service writers and shuttle personnel walked all around me without even addressing me or a word of "someone will be with you in a minute". After the completion of the oil change and filter, I asked for the GM and expressed my displeasure for what felt like superiority/elitism (for lack of a better words). Just because I didn't purchase there, doesn't mean to treat someone less than.. They are my VERY last choice even though they are closest to me...

For all my OEM parts, I go to Toyota Renton.

I will buy parts from Toyota of Renton but only if my connection through a connection a Toyota of Kirkland isn't available.

I had a tech try to steal my TRD oil cap at Toyota of Renton, so I don't go there anymore (after my free oil changes were up).

Toyota of Seattle has really impressed me.

I went in to Toyota Seattle for my last oil change and never got the tool kit and jack when I bought ilthe truck new. It's been over a year since I bought it and they ordered new ones for me no problem.

Nate did my cab mount chop today. He's a good dude. Does good work.
