Good Morning everyone and Happy TGIF!!

Good AM to all commuters & semi retired ones too.
Its been a week or so that I've been on site. Had to or got to reset a bit.

37 hours to Buffalo Wild Wings, thanks for the invite Chris but I have to wash my hair.

 

That is on the 18th of march. .....so it's more like 535 hours away

 

Well it didnt.
I explained everything last week to shop. They kept saying no problem. I said I just wanted 0,0,3 caster.
No problem.
Now this am after checking truck in I went outside to have my coffee since it was hot inside and I already saw enough news.
Counter guy comes out and asks if I wanted a particular alignment. And as I started talking a mechanic walked right up in my space which got my attention. I said yes. He said they can only do to factory specs. I said I wish they would've told me that last week and it would've saved us both alot of time and aggrivation.
Then the mechanic popped off loudly and said he's only doing it to factory specs or take it somewhere else! I looked at him and said I wasn't here to argue. He said I'm not arguing take it somewhere else . I put my hand out and asked for my keys.

 

Yikes.

Dealership and other small shops wouldn't even put my truck on the rack. I went to an offroad shop and the said $300 for an alignment. Then the guy next to him said, "yeah, we take it to Tyreman's down the street". The owner looked at him like he was going to kill him...lol.
So I took it there myself and they charge me $79, they have a large setup for trucks and didn't care that I had aftermarket UCAS or that I wanted the 0,0,3 setup. Keep looking.

All I can do.
Counter guy was polite.
Mechanic lacked people skills to say the least.

 

Crap the dealership does my truck for like $80 never a question asked even when I requested higher castor numbers

 

Ugg I understand the shop's issue but they should of told you that from the word go. :{

Never thought of the dealer.
Just called and I specifically asked if they would align outside factory specs.
I was told yes as long as I stated that when I bring it in. 99.95 no wty.

 

I set it up I'll be there Monday 7am. Gotta be the first one at driveway to minimize wait time.
