Since no one seems to want to actually make the plans for a meet up I'll put my pants on and get it started. Tuesday, March 7th, 600 PM at Burgers, Beer, and Bourbon in One Loudoun. Nice spot with a big parking lot where we can hang out for a while.

Dude coming from Alexandria and leaving here at 430 to get to loudon...my rents live off route 7 which is horrible at that time.

I agree traffic sucks. I dont even try to drive between 3pm and 7.

 

I could make this maybe around 830 or so...I tend to stay off the road till about 7 unless its local for me as like you said.

i'm gonna second that- i live in arlington and my ex-gf lived in reston, trying to get to her place after work was the reason (i keep telling myself) we broke up (totally not because i'm afraid of commitment).

 

I was the opposite. My ex-gf lived in Reston, and I lived in Leesburg. Didnt help that she didnt drive or work..

 

yeah man mine was a teacher and it was great in the summer (since I deliver yachts for a living and have lots of time off) but as soon as school started and I had to drive there in the evening my drive went from 20 minutes to like an hour and 20, makes you question how committed she is when you're the only one making that drive.

 

I had a similar chic that things went south because of that. Commitment is one thing, traffic jams is another.

Props to you for entertaining that. It would be one thing if she was somewhat cost effective, but to have no transportation or income and to still have a considerable night life? I would of bailed pretty fast.
