    It's getting there.
So, I got the KC fogs around valentine's day because there was a sale and promo going on and I'm a sad lonely man with no girlfriend to get mad when I spend dumb amounts of money on my truck instead of her.

Onto the good shit. 1st pick is stock lights, second pic is KC, third is 1 stock 1 KC looking at truck, fourth is 2 KC looking at truck.

So, I think they look cool. I think they are not any noticeable amount brighter than the stock fogs. I think that the install was relatively painless. I think I should have lamin-x'd the stock ones.

These lights are cool, maybe even cool as shit, and I'm happy they say KC on them, but this is not a nearly 300 dollar improvement. They won't be going back, and I can solidly say that they are very good in every aspect of doing the job they are intended to do, but it's not a 300 dollars better than stock job.

If brand is worth it to you, and you want to have a neat little bit of print on the fog reflector to point at; then buy these, if you just want amber lights for maximum bro; use lamin-x.

I also purchased these fogs during the Valentine Day sale also and have been quite impressed with them. They are amber, so I wasn't expecting the force of the sun to come out of them. Maybe the regular clear ones illuminate better. I noticed on mine it has a wider spread which you would want and also you do not get that glare from fog with super white lights. What do people expect for $300? I was looking at OEM Lexus LED fog lights for the same price. I think they are priced fairly well. Yeah you can get the $130 Morimotos, but that can be the same for every product ever manufactured. Not bashing you and you gave your fair assessment. Just trying to understand people.

I agree that I would not go with the morimoto, I just think that the stocker lights are fine if not even 'very good'. That said these KC's are good and probably 'very good' but not amazing and IMHO not really worth the 300 bucks.

    in a number scale:

    Stock 6 out of 10
    KC 7.5 out of 10

I guess I really was expecting a lot more light output. I'm still happy they are on my truck, I just think I would not buy them again if I got a mulligan.

I want these because they're clean and well designed but 860 lumens is not... stellar. Hopefully baja designs can come up with a cleaner solution (remedy the gap). Those put out 4900 lumens each and arent much more expensive than the kc hilites.

    Thanks for the pics OP

Welcome. The fit is OEM and super clean although the mounting tabs aren't exactly the same they work well and fit well. I will say that, they fit well and are well made.
