What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Well, you made me think about it enough to order some 2885 coils instead of using the stock coils. What's another $170 at this point? I'll like the set up much more and that's what matters. Thanks again!

 

That was my goal! I promise you'll like this set-up way more than you would've liked stock coils. I've pointed probably 10 people in this direction and every one of them has been happy with the result.

I went with 5100/885's and love it.

 

Got my BAMF CMC plates in today.

I think a 1" block in the rear is a little on the low side paired with 885. That will make your truck completely level and when you put something in the bed, it will now be nose high.

 

I purchased mine from a seller store on eBay.

 

And this way I'll have a full set of stock TRDOR Bilsteins with coils to hopefully sell and recoup a little $$ back.

 

I sold mine for $250 I think? Maybe $200. Either way, go the CL route and be patient. Took me about a month to sell mine.

 

Huh. I don't carry much back there ever, or tow. If this set up would be lifted and level I could live with it. I'm only getting 265/75/16 so I don't want it to look out of proportion by raising it too much.

So how are you enjoying that Mayland traffic? I grew up there and visit my family 2-3 times a year and I cant stand that rat race.

 

Loving it. With where I live in relation to where I work, I don't hit traffic. It's 30 miles away and takes me 35 minutes to get there. Other than that, I don't have a need to hit the highway. Kinda sucks though because I totally could've kept my truck.

 

I bought mine in November of 2016 and I put 6,000 miles on it already.
