    Unless something changes that I'm not aware of, this isn't correct. We ship via LTL to a freight terminal closest to the customer. We can ship direct to a business address if you have one, but a loading dock and fork lift are recommended.

    Sliders will not ship to a residential address. If you can't provide a commercial shipping address that has either a loading dock or a forklift, then we ship it to the closest shipping terminal to the address you provide. Once it arrives at said terminal, they'll call you and you go get it.

    There is no good way to check which is closest to you. We use 15 different companies this way we can get it as close to you as possible while also keeping the shipping rates down. Often there is a terminal within 20-30 minute drive. Very rare cases we've had to send people up to 60 minutes away. This has happened twice in over 200 orders. Most orders are about 20 minutes or less.

    I don't want to sound like a douche but please don't everyone email me asking where it is. Just have faith that I'm not sending you across the country to get them. I won't really know until the day I schedule freight to ship the order.

    If you insist on having them brought to your house, I'll do it but it typically adds an additional $100 to your freight cost. They charge $50 to ship to a residence and another $50 for lift gate. So for example, if it cost $175 to go from us to Texas, that is to a commercial address or a freight terminal. To your house, add $100 to that...

    How well does the powder coating hold up during shipping? Is there a good chance it will be gouged and chipped etc.?

    We wrap them in foam and cardboard to ship them but there is still a chance for damage. We take care in packaging. It once it leaves our shop it's in gods hands. It's rare that we have huge issues. But if you're concerned, don't get powder coat.
