I saw a guy earlier on TW selling a set of Kings for a 1st gen for $915 shipped. Brand new. Had the rear billies to go with it for $115 more. Would! But no 1st gen

 

Yeah I've been eyeing that too, only problem is I would have to stray away from the Dakar for the rear. The cheaper AAL's will do me fine for now. The reason I gravitated towards the one I linked was because it doesn't cost extra for them to assemble and it looked like an equivalent all around lift.

 

Broe, you need Maxtracs and Dakars and you can add to it all you want down the road.

Swap the blocks out for a progressive 3 leaf AAL and done. 4" lift. Boom!

 

Honestly I'd do the Dakars in the back if you can afford it.

Appreciate you putting that together for me my friend. My incentive in all of this was originally to just replace front and rear shocks, as mine are about 186k miles old lol. After that, it spiraled into "well I gotta get new coils if I'm buying new shocks" and then "well new coils are gonna lift my front, have to lift the rear too now" and I'm at the point where I'm looking at kits that give me the best of both worlds. The lift is just an added bonus, but not my main priority.

Those other lifts you were looking at were good and all. But pretty much everybody runs a 3" OME lift on here lol.

Plus, you can get more than that without any negative consequences
