Mine came boxed up, I had ripped the top half of the box off already before taking the picture. The legs were in there as well, the gussets and brackets came in a separate box. They will have oil on them to protect them from rusting, so I would leave them alone until you're ready to install

They are also pretty heavy/unwieldy, it helps to have an extra set of hands to help move them

They are welded on all the straight parts, basically everywhere except the corners and the "L" bend in the bracket

Thx for the idea! They are cool looking sliders/steps. Already ordered the TG weld on sliders though.

Goodies arrived today! I suggest anyone looking for TG sliders, get them from Jegs. Great prices and free/super fast shipping on orders over $95. 20170224_150629.jpg

I'll admit I had no idea the packages shipped with two different carries. I kinda freaked and was wondering if fedex lost the brackets. Checked my email (the one I barely use) and saw they shipped via ups LOL! They were delivered within 2hrs of eachother. When do you plan on installing yours??

Ive emailed for a quote but havent got a response yet, may enlist someone on here for referrals. Id like to get them mocked up and welded and then paint before welding them to truck

I painted mine after getting them welded on, had two large sheets of cardboard and wedged them between the truck and sliders then sprayed away. did it in like 2 hours, mostly degreasing and waiting 10min in between coats. Doing it beforehand will obviously be easier, but I would have had to touch them up a bunch afterwards cause I was banging them on everything haha, just figured i'd do it all at once.

Trying something new. Didn't want to install the license plate on the bumper and didn't want to screw into the painted side of the tailgate to mount it. So the "inner minitrucker" came out in me LOL. Thoughts? I'm kinda digging it. (Pics are just a mock up)Ties in with the wheels and rear shackels pretty well since they also have circles. Thoughts???

I wanna say 2in, but I honestly can't remember. I would have tucked mine in a little more if I could do it over.

If you have an extra set of hands or jack stands, I would mock up just the sliders themselves at a distance you like and an angle as well. Then measure the distance to your frame then cut the legs. Or you could do it like I did and just eyeball it haha
