    I just did the mod today. Took all of 5 min and hopefully will eliminate any problems that I could've had down the road. Thanks op for the heads up on this issue and to whoever discovered the mod.

    Does anyone know where you can buy a replacement fan for the secondary air pump? Got the P2442 code on my 2012, V6 Tacoma (50k miles), going to replace the valves but wanted to also replace the pump fan blade while I was in there. Thoughts?

    Does the below Uni Filter really help?

    Take the pump cover off and see if there are broken blades. I don't know if the fan, itself is available or if you have to buy the assembly. While you're in there, remove the foam filter that can disintegrate and cause the fan to break. The Uni-Filter replaces the piece of foam.
