Hey everyone I'm going to Orlando for a week. Going to Disney for a few days. Going to go to Daytona Beach for a day. Any other suggestions that I can do that's close by? By close by I mean within 1-2 hours since I'm not renting a car and a friend is driving me.

There is a tree top zipline tour in bartow.

There are airboat rides on the st johns river near titusville.

The coast is nice to kayak on the intercoastal, there is rental places.

There's probably some good live music going on.

There is a drag strip and circle track with events quite often.

Are you saying that 4 days weren't enough or did you get sick of it after 4 days?

I'd love to go to Sea World.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Keep them coming if you have more.

Cool. Let me ask my girlfriend if it's okay to flirt with the bartender.

My face while staring at the bartender. :p

Her face will be like

    Islands of Adventure?!?!?!?!?!?

Don't go to Daytona Beach, go to Cocoa or New Smyrna instead. Daytona is a shit hole.

International Drive, Old Town in Kissimmee, Downtown Orlando has a good nightlife, Downtown Disney, CityWalk,

There is a ton of stuff to do......

Airboat tours to see alligators and stuff, awesome canoeing, golf, I could go on forever

Ask her for a Makers neat. It was the longest pour I've ever gotten in a rocks glass, a pinky finger width from overflowing. after that the BS started flying out of my mouth..... and she was great to talk to.... probably just wanted a bigger tip, but very entertaining.

Yeah I didn't know of any other beaches close by except Daytona. Thanks for the recommendations!

She's been to the one in VA.

I'm going to show her this thread. She always like, "ugh you're always on TacomaWorld." This will prove to her it's not always about TRUCKS!!

Daytona Beach, Daytona Speedway, NASA, take an airboat swamp ride, and I think there's one of those indoor skydive things in Orlando.

Screw disneyworld! unless you are taking kids I guess...

Disney is awesome! Go there atleast every 6 mos to see father in law. He works there so gets us in. Magic kingdom isn't as fun as epcot though. Nothing better than leaving the hotel that we usually stay at, the yauct club, and walking 3 mins to go drink around the world!

While in Florida I would also recommend going out on a fishing charter.

When are you going to Orlando? I'm scheduled to go to Orlando (Maitland) in the end of April/Beginning of May for two weeks for training for work. I opted to drive instead of fly.

I'm going down there in March. Just about 3 weeks from today. Can't wait! Love to go fishing but I don't think we have time for that. Mostly Sea World and Disney World.

Sounds like fun. hit me up with any suggestions after you get back if you don't mind. I've been to Orlando once and went to Islands of Adventure and it was pretty fun, but that was all I did.
