Can i fit these tires?

Hey guys i just got a 2013 taco 2WD SR5 and love it! Id like to know if i can fit some 16x8 wheels with 245/70/16's on it if i have no lift. Im on trails alot due to my work and the extra size of the tire would really help out.

 

Is it a 5-lugger? Sounds like 5-lugger problems.

The person over at autoanything is telling me "they will fit fine but i wouldn't go any bigger" i just want to know if ill get any rubbing

 

You'll have a lot better luck asking the other 5 luggers. Most of us on here are 4x4 or prerunners and don't have a clue about the 5 lugs man.

I had 235 70r 16s on my 5 lugger - Highlander wheels. I think those we're 16x7s though. Fit fine. No rubbing. Big difference from the stocks 15s and they didn't affect acceleration.
