    One of us likes our steak medium rare to medium, the other likes it well done. You know how hard it is to get these done right? Mines always right. Hers not always. Hers got a little "blackened" this time.

    That is a nice mix we used:

    Ever Clear
    Peach Schnapps
    151 Rum
    Sloe Gin
    Vodka
    Red Kool-Aid
    Cut up fruit oranges, strawberries, pears , peaches
    Mix up let set 2 hours so the fruit soaks up some alcohol..( Cause the ladies liked to eat the fruit) ..Just saying :}
    2 Mardi Gras sized cups or solo red cups and you were good more then that you were on your way to not recalling much of the evening. :}

    That is a medal I never wanted to earn, and each person that receives one earns them. But two with a star?! Wasn't sure how to respond and Chris did it for me, nailed it.

    He should be choked up and if it was my son I would be too. You done good Dad...

    And that right there says a lot, in few words.

    Well an old muscle car is a lot like an older "collectors" gun. You going to pull it out once in awhile and fondle the damn thing or shoot it\use it? Use it and have fun doing it! Powder, lead and primers aint cheap either. Then get into 16 ga. hulls.

    I'll pretend that I did NOT read propane and steak in the same paragraph LOL.

    Nah never. And never stumbled back across shit river. Or rode in a Jeepney ;)

    Or drank bilge wine out of a bug juice machine on the midwatch underway....

    Still snowing here, getting close to 2 feet deep. Down to 15* morning should be pure joy when I get the blower out and do the drive. But with the blizzard winds trying to blow snow is a lot like pissing into the wind. Don't be that guy.

    That sounds like what I had a few times in the barracks

    I even remember drinking JD & Coke in the barracks tv room under the watchful eye of the Duty Sergeant and OOD . We would use coke bottles mixed with JD and never did they ever notice what we were drinking LOL !! :cheers: :drunk:

    Good morning everyone, winter has returned. Mid thirties and a little snow. No snow removal, a couple of inches max. We got spoiled the last couple of weeks with an unseasonably warm jet stream. I hope you are all well, time to make COFFEE, and then I should get on the $"&(/@& treadmill.

    Morning Jim.
    Yea I guess it's good and bad having backaches. I'm supposed to keep my core tight. You know.
    My toolshed.
    When I don't and pack on a couple pounds I feel it in my back which gets me going to burn it off.
