Entune text messages

Is there a setting I need to change? When I get a text message the only option it will allow me to hit is ignore when I get a text. I used to be able to hit read and the fine Toyota lady would read it to me.

 

Un-pair your phone from your Tacoma, un-pair the Tacoma from your phone, them re-pair them together again. Fixed it for me!

 

Worse read text ever.. it's in the settings, not around my truck atm but I think it's under driver setting..?

If you are using an iPhone and have contacts saved on your home screen then for some reason this can happen. I guess it's a glitch in the software. If you delete all but one of the quick contacts on your home screen it will work.

I know it sounds strange but it's a problem that has been known since I bought my truck in 2015. From what I remember it was only with iphones

 

Oh and repair your phone after deleting the contacts

 

Yup. Worked for me. Entune is still crap.
