Found 2 houses. Both new, both perfect, both same distance from work. I prefer the corner lot with bigger backyard. Wife prefers the cul de sac, with the pools and clubhouse amenities. What say NorCal??

    Check out the build
I feel corner houses are at a strategic disadvantage from an intrusion standpoint, and everyone goes through your yard off the sidewalk.

Tough call. If kids (which I don't think you have) then cul de sac. Corner lots suck with all the traffic especially with kids playing and if you are plan on working on your truck that's more people to see what you're doing or get in the way.

Although if it's a quiet corner then a larger yard would be nice.

More shit then I ever planned on doing
    Kids? Cuz de sac

    No kids? Corner lot

Got my own personal out house with my lock on it. Just like pooping at home, kinda.

Except when I'm fumbling trying and get the key out of my pocket in a hurry! :goingcrazy:

by clubhouse do you mean like an unnatached guest/ pool house? Cause that sounds like some potential awesome mancave action o_O

I also say cul de sac. From a planning perspective, corner lots have tougher setback requirements. Plus ditto what everyone else said

One of the corner houses on the end of my street has had a number of cars crash through their fence in the middle of the night because of these drifter retards or some teenagers doing donuts

agreed with everyone: kids = cul de sac / no kids = corner lot + bigger yard.

I'd probably get a corner lot regardless cause I'd want the side access to the yard for a future garage with a lift and a place to store toys on trailers :fingerscrossed:
