I posted a while back about my dog not adjusting well to my new house. I now have taken in my sisters dog and they both do great. They get along better day by day and they both behave fine and no issues staying home all day while I work. I am so happy my best friend adjusted and loves this new home now.

    Here is my dog Oscar

And my sisters dog I took in Sophie

As you can see they are both out cold as they commonly are.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
It's a ruff life for a dog, couldn't stay up a minute longer.

But he wasn't quite comfy enough. Had to move to a new spot.

Those toys would last about 10 minutes at my house. My dogs eat them like candy.

I got one that does the same. The not so fun part is when they try to pass them.

my son's border collie shreds stuffed toys, but he's just after the squeaky. when he finds it, he'll walk around the house going squeak squeak, hahahahah. once the squeaky gets lost, he'll guard and keep the remnant of the stuffed animal like its his precious. all the fluff is left for us to clean up :-/

    Here are my pups:

Holly is a 9 year old (will be 10 in May) Scottish Terrier that we picked up from the humane society on Veteran's Day 2009.

Elle is a 2 year old (will be 3 in May) German Shorthaired Pointer that we picked up from the humane society in May of 2015.

[IMG]DSC_0027 by Alex Wilson, on Flickr

Since we've taken Elle in I have tried to get out with just Holly from time to time so she doesn't feel like she's being replaced.

[IMG]DSC_0253 by Alex Wilson, on Flickr

[IMG]DSC_0172 by Alex Wilson, on Flickr

But typically they're together. Holly is the clear Alpha and is quick to put Elle in her place. When Elle gets wet she will lick her dry and Elle just sits there, frozen like a statue, until she stops.

Holly loves laying under the truck to escape the sun.

This was just a couple weeks after getting Elle. She was a rescue from a farm in Hawaii. Had lived on a chain outside her whole life, never been inside, didn't have a name, and didn't know any commands when we got her. She loved getting out in the 4Runner and exploring.

We're not sure what her FULL story is. I wanted to hunt with her but quickly found out that she's absolutely terrified by even the sight of a gun. If she hears a gunshot she shuts down. On new years we had her at my in-law's and the neighbors lit off a bunch of fireworks. I had to actually carry her outside to get her to go to the bathroom after about 24 hours. When we went back a couple weeks later she was still messed up by it and would not go outside.
