Here it is. In stock and ready to go. It is pretty simple and I have included instructions as well. The kit includes the panel and the two mounting screws. P3 not included, lol

Installed my P3 Tekonsha brake controller with using the panel from ESP Truck Accessories today. Turned out looking pretty good and sure beats butchering the cup that the ESP panel and controller replaced.

Your fit will be better if you take the plastic clip off the top of the P3 and shave (cut/file) the ear on the back end off - this will allow the clip to sit flush on the P3 and provide a square surface for the P3 to sit against the esp plate mount. Nice job. Looks good.

I never thought about removing the plastic clip on the top....dahhhhh! Stupid me! But still thanks for the compliment.

First I removed the cubby with 4 screws to get more space and a deeper mount. Removing the plastic clip on top of P3 gave more space. I was able to mount the P-3 with the included metal mounting bracket attached to the plastic enclosure with self-drill 3 metal screws driven from the bottom (bracket oriented upright) . The 3 screws show on the front underside of the plastic cover, but they are black and hard to see.
This uses the 2 supplied mounting screws that go into the sides of the controller. The bracket fastened to the bottom ledge of the plastic cover holds the unit securely.
There is a small gap under the controller, but it is hard to see. You can operate the manual lever without binding.
Interesting to note that there are other cables and connectors for non-installed options stowed just below this cubby. This install is a good time to put in other electrical options, and there may be room left in the plastic panel below P3 for switches, etc.

Saw that and had the same question. Certainly not stock on the factory options mine came with. Maybe the "get off my ass" button for those who follow to close?!

The owner of that truck is running a light bar. That is the supplied switch with the led light bar

So did you ever make one of these for the P2? I already had a P2 from a different vehicle so don't want to spend more on a P3.

We decided based on feedback and also what we sell for the Tundra, that if we invested in a tool for the P2, we would not be able to recoup that investment unless we charged double of what we charge for the P3 panel. If you know about injection molding, you know how expensive tooling is. I can not justify selling the same product for a different model for double the price. Hope this makes sense.

So I'm not sure that I understand cable part. With the ESP panel and install, will the pigtail from the P3 reach and connect to the harness in the Taco??

Yes, the harness is long enough to reach.

Looking at an Aliner Expedition, did you really need the bags on you suspension??

Tekonsha #3017P is definitely long enough for the ESP cubby mount. Comes with ends for the tow harness and the controller and is about 30" If you need longer length use the P3 pigtail and splice it to the 3017S half harness. That will get you 62" total length or shortened to your desire.

Good thread. Just ordered the P3 and 3017 harness from Amazon. We pick up our new camper early next week, an ultra-lite Keystone Passport 153ML.

    Thanks!
