I'm looking at the 20v Dewalt 3/8" impact gun , might get one pretty soon

 

That's the one I'm looking at adding next. We used one to bolt the bed on my truck, tighten mounts and set concrete anchors. It was pretty nice, had a good amount of torque and doesn't run through batteries. That 1/4" I used yesterday, we were screwing in 3 1/2" & 4" deck screws (torx head) all day and never swapped the battery out. I'm going to stick to electric saws (circular and reciprocating) and my 4 1/2" grinder. The DeWalt's seem to hqve good power, but they do burn through batteries in conveniently (at least for my liking).

 

That impact gun will be nice for when I need to pull my wheels off the Camaro and when tearing down engines

It ran the 1/2" bolts with nylocs down on my truck bed like it was nothing. And it's way smaller and not as wieldy as an airgun. I'll keep my 1/2" airgun for the bigger stuff, but that 3/8" gun is pretty nice. I see on tv when they show the pits at the drag strips, most of those mechanics are using them.

I'm not that much into those races anymore. I think it's shameful of nascar to allow the cup drivers to race in the lower series at all. Even if they can't accumulate points, they are still robbing the up and coming drivers of position and limelight. Even limiting how many races they can participate in is still too many. How many pro players dress and play in a college game? College players in high school games?

Hello everybody I hope you all had a good Saturday! Well I took my little white trooper on it's maiden off road voyage today. It wasn't anything fancy just some fire roads in the mountains. Some of it was maintained for the trout fishermen but the majority was rough as hell and we strayed onto a harder section for quite a while. It started dry and dusty then we got hammered with rain and hail which turned everything pretty slick and water everywhere.
