What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Oil change, 5 tire rotation, u-joints greased, tranny pan drained, wire for trans temp sensor run. Tranny pan will come off tomorrow for sensor bung to be welded on.

 

Stopped at the local auto parts store for some cleaning supplies and parked next to this super clean First Gen , nice old guy ... said he had well over 200k and still ran like a clock

 

Tire rotation then got it dirty


then got it clean again

 

265/70/17 KO2s. Went for a balance of sidewall strength, weight, and winter rating.

 

I use this stuff. Works great.

 

Does anyone know if this will fit a short bed? I tried looking around but can't find much on exterior bed dimensions or what model number it is. I asked the seller and he has no idea on product info. Thanks for any help fellas!

 

Who makes that recovery point? (The one that accepts a shackle?)

 

Added some led reverse lights in my bumper versus mounting under the bumper.

How does this stuff hold up? I just ordered all new armor and it'll be raw when I get it.

I ordered raw BAMF sliders and was planning on trying this stuff out.

How did you remove the mudflaps? I know there are 10mm bolts in the back, and i want to be able to remove mine without taking off each tire.

 

Indeed. Picked it up at autozone. Spray it on. Let sit for 15 minutes (I think, says on the can how long), and then rinse off with water hose.

 

Undo the bolts and yank. No need to take any tires off.

I was kidding on the yank. Take your time and slowly pry them off but you definitely don't need to remove the tires.
