If that works for you that's totally cool. The answer to the question of running a 33 stock is no. Anything can be done but the requirements are not always an option for the person asking the question. I won't even do a body mount chop. I'll buy what I need to buy to make it work properly. Again though, that's just me.

 

@Wheelspinner didnt you just fit 33's stock??

 

It can be done, it's possible, but not without cutting things up. That's not a good option for most of us.

285/75-16's on stock backspace wheels. 1.25" spidertrax to clear the uca and I removed the mudflaps. Plastic was trimmed with a utility knife so it was minimal. Flattened the pinch weld while I was in there but it wasn't really nessecary. Didn't touch the cab mount. Also I've read that the 16+ trucks have a higher ride higher than previous years so that will help too. Didn't read the whole thread so not sure what the details are.

 

Oh and now a pelfreybilt hybrid is up for sale when I just spent 255$ to ship one here... Ugh

Problems are the 2 little monsters, approval, and scheduling with 'the boss'
