Thanks. I took two 1-1/4" x 1/8" x 36" steel bars from Home Depot and cut/bent/welded one to make the T section that will bolt onto two T-slot nuts and then bent the other one to fit the can. The back end is just going to be held together with a thick bungee cord to allow me to slide the can in from the rear under my tonneau.

Were you able to order the door panels, console lid, dash and shift boots from Katzkins?

Changed the start up and screen off images again! :goingcrazy:

    Start up:

    Screen off:

You can follow this guide to change the images which is super easy. Other tips: resize the photos to a 1.669:1 aspect ratio (1803x1080, 4032x3024, 2722x1631, 885x530, etc), ensure the photos are under 5mb in size, save the photos as .jpeg file type, and format the USB drive to MS-DOS (FAT) for Mac users. Here's a link to some minimalistic HUD/GUI-type images that I compiled that can be used.

I just can't stop doing stuff to my truck! Ever since I drove an inferno red Tacoma, I have always liked how Toyota painted the surround on the instrument cluster. I've been trying to decide what to do for weeks. The interior is so dark and needs a splash of color. So I decided to add some red to the interior. Red TACOMA letters on the glove box & doors sills, TRD shifter with red letters & inserts and adding a thin red stripe to the instrument surround. I think it turned out pretty good.

It had the black with orange trim, to me it just seemed like to dark inside the cab...and katzkin does nice work which ever color it is.

With katzkin they have upholsterers they work with to install their product, I found it way cheaper to go to the upholsterer closest to me and have them order it then try to do it online, you can do different color combinations then on the website ,and they have all the color swatches of leather available for you to look at in person which gives you a better idea of the true color of the leather, and I asked the upholsterer if he could do the door panels ,console lid ,dash and boots. If you look on their website they will show a list of the upholsterers in your area.

Yes. I had them on my Dakota for a few months before she was totaled. I was driving sand trails at full inflation and with no fancy off road traction systems... just a good ol' V8 and a lead foot :) Oh, she handled beautifully in the snow too.

What is that latch-looking thing behind your seats there?

I think you're referring to the auto sliding rear window mechanism?

For all 2017+ TRD models (not including Access Cabs) - yes. Sucks we didn't get it with our 2016s but Toyota is clueless with their non-japanese builds.

Makes no difference to me... my OR does not have BSM, Crawl, MTS... I do have A-track and the locker, though.

How much of the GTMAT did you need for the seats?

Agreed - I have an M/T too but I got the premium/tech package for the little things. I just wonder what it'll do to resale down the road when sometime in 2018 they add power front seats and other random shit they had no reason not to add earlier on (entirely hypothetical but it's likely and still a silly game they play).

They need to pull their heads out of their asses and put a V8 in the Tacomas already.
