Blazing Blue Pearl Thread

My 17 with cap.

 

Cleaned up. All ready to get dirty again!

 

Anybody got a black cap with their BBP? I'm looking at getting a cap soon, but with a lot of pics of others I think colour-matched cap is just too much blue!

Help!

 

That's crazy talk. Just can't have too much BBP.

 

Check out post 2231 and 2290 to give you a idea of how it would look. Personally I think matching the top to the truck looks better.

 

Thanks, yeah I'm really on the fence... maybe colour-match and then vinyl it if I really don't like all the BBP.

 

I say go with blue. There's always black, green or pink plasti-dip if you feel a need to change it.

 

We always had white toppers on our Air Force work trucks - Chevy 2500s or Ford F-250s, crew cab long beds, and a white fiberglass topper - always thought that looked good. Not sure how that would look on a BBP Taco, but I bet it would look pretty slick.

 

Just bought it 24 hrs ago. Traded my 2015 Tacoma! This is my new best friend!!! Lol. my wife wanted groceries..

Hey! You took my spot. I've always parked in the back 40, people just don't give 2 f**ks about your stuff. Plus it makes a good workout on the way back with a couple cases under each arm.

Anyone with a bbp put grey wheels on their vehicle instead of black? I see they make the 17-inch TRD Pro SEMA Wheels in matte gray also

Thanks! He's the head tilt master. You ask him "do you wanna ___" and he turns into a head tilting owl regardless of what the last word you say is.

 

I have seen a few with the gray trd wheels. You just need to use the search box search all 3rd gen forum for "gunmetal trd" or "gray trd"
