I wish I had a pic of the trailer one guy had at the track. It was a Tripple axle,,, long sucker.
Was a home design toy hauler. Had all his equipment and spares with him

FOR A MINI COOPER...........

Dam car took up all of 12 feet.

 

Oddly enough for the desert, we have a pretty fair fish joint just down the road. I get my shrimp burrito and fish taco fix there.

 

We see those at work...Smart Car, Suzuki Samurai, Geo Metro and Jeeps seem to be the preferred secondary modes, but we do see the Mini Cooper in the trailer basement or toyhauler.

Many of these folks leave their trailer/motorhome here during the summer and just drive their pickup with a cabover or whatever. There's a place a couple miles from one LTVA that, if you store your rig at their place, they will haul it over for free. I don't know their monthly rate for storage, but lots of folks do that.

 

Ahh, but what a way to go

 

Anyone watching the Daytona 500 right now , they just showed Clint Bowyer wearing a very cool looking helmet . It's a Mobil one design but whoever painted the helmet gave it a rusted patina look

in certain areas of the helmet especially surrounding the eye opening shows a very rusted out appearance

 

Mini Coopers rule. I had mine up to 150 a couple times. Fun as shit car to drive. Handles like a go cart. Got rid of it cause the wife refused to drive it cause it was a manual, and we needed a car for her to drive to the new job. So I got the old buick for work, and she got the brand new Taco.

 

That looks so good.

 

I'm so glad the coffee is still brewing and I wasn't drinking anything.

This is why I stay so quiet. I don't want people lumping me in with the grumpy crowd. People who know me have called me a grumpy old bastard for years and I'm only 30-23.

I was looking for some, but he's more famous for motorcross. I seen a thing on tv a few years back about their helmet designs and TLD did a lot. They may have some more designers by now, I'm sure.
