Has anybody bought a second window switch and replaced the passenger switch on the drivers door with an "auto" switch? That is the one thing i miss from my Audi in just being able to press both switches and have the twon windows roll down automatically.

If I remember correctly, a few people have tried, but it's all one unit.

You would need the relays and controller swapped out, as well. Not worth it.

You know what I would like to see as well? Lane change turn signals. (Touch the lever once and the turn signals continue for 2-3 more seconds).

I did the auto-down mod to my Ranger and loved it. I have a feeling that it might work on the Tacoma also, but we would need to figure out the wiring.

The way to do it on the ranger was get the auto-down module from an early 90's Taurus. Back then Ford didn't build the auto-down into the system, it actually had a stand alone module just for it. It was a quick wiring job on the Ranger and worked like a charm. Some guys even got extra modules and added auto-up to their windows.

I will look for the write up for the Ranger and maybe somebody could figure out the wiring differences for the Tacoma and we could get it to work.

The cardomain site is for a guy who is an electrical engineer and a genius with mods. Now I wish he would start designing mods for the Tacoma.
