How long ago was this?

I've been out of the honda game for almost 15 years. Back then they were struggling to hit 11 seconds. Now they are running 7 seconds. Game has changed

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I think I sold it about maybe 5-6 years ago. Mine was super fun to drive hard. Handling and braking was superb, but the JDM D15B VTEC was only about a 130HP mill in stock form, so it was lacking in the power department. The SOHC guys that were fast were the ones running built D16's w/ a big nasty turbo hitting 400 whp. I had built an engine with forged rods and Suzuki Vitara pistons and was planning to do the same thing, but back then I really didn't have the cash to do the turbo setup they way I wanted to do it. It was my daily driver and one of the things I hated about it was the little half-sized condenser and crappy A/C performance. Its just too damned hot in Houston.

I would love to find a 92-95 hatch to restore and do a similar setup to what I had and this time around maybe go with a K-series swap. Just to have a fun car to drive around when the weather is nice.

Checked in a while back....but wife and I are actually in the area now! Temporary housing in Sugar Land....waiting on a house in Katy.

Welcome to texas! I don't know my way around sugarland much. But you can Google vehicle registration sugarland tx. That will come up with something. The dl should be at the dmv

But a 92-95 hatch would be the only years I'd entertain IF I was ready to start another Honda project. I still have some more things I'd like to do with the taco before picking up another bucket of bolts to play with.
