Today I installed Voodoo Fabrication's remote start system. Many thanks to both @GoGoStAm and @gpb for posting up tons of great info regarding the install and operation of this system!

Installed a panel for 6 rocker switches today. if anyone's wondering, the panel with the ECT button requires all of the dash to be disassembled. hopefully, the switches I ordered from CH4x4 show up soon so I can fill the empty blanks!

Looks great! Originally wanted to do that. Ended up going with the cubby hole switch plate. I just knew I would end up breaking something. Props to you for having patience.

Thanks for the pic, year that's a hell of a job there. Wow. Looks like you had to drop the pax knee airbag? In my research I figured ya had to dig in that deep, but hadn't dug in that far myself. Good to see confirmation, appreciate you sharing.

For other folks - careful of those yellow bits. Best to have battery disconnected.

The bed cleats work well to redirect strap tension, but suck to tie directly to. They try to bend the rail.

I needed something for the center of the front and came up with this.

    Built last night...

    Tested today...
    20170226_133513.jpg

    Pretty simple to make.
    That's 1.5" wide 1/4" bar cut 4.5" long.
The bolt holes are on center and 0.6" from each end.
The D ring is a cut up 5000 lb bolt on unit from the tractor store (cut to make it a weld on).

I thought about the cuddy hole as well, however, it holds my staff card to get into work and I was eventually going to need more than 3 extra switches.

It was a lot more then I expected to do today that's for sure! every time I though ti got close I found something else it tucked behind. The passenger airbag was dropped, the panel below the Steering column was dropped, most of the center console came out. I sure learned a hell of a lot today about how everything clicks together. I actually did this with the battery connected... in hindsight, I should have disconnected it. The good news is that you can access all the new ports with removing the radio. Thankfully I won't have to do that again! i also have a ton more pics if anyone ever needs them.
