Well like i stated earlier today the listing agent called me and said that the seller agreed to my offer and was signing my contract today. The agent just texted me stating that they have another potential buyer that submitted a offer. So now i'm playing the waiting game. This sucks!

 

Darn!

How long was it on the market? Possible realtor games?

 

Sounds like the agent is playing games but since he is their listing agent he works for them but to tell you what he did earlier seems like he might be a touch unethical..

 

An unethical real estate agent? Say it ain't so?!?! He's in it for himself, no one else. The higher the sale price, the higher his commission.

 

No telling what kind of three eyed or two headed creatures will come out of there. Its nasty.

 

He told me earlier today that my offer was accepted and that the seller would sign my contract today. But he did tell us yesterday while we were there looking at it that another agent from a different agency was scheduled to show it that day also. I'm guessing that person is the one making a offer. My mom would always say "If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. If it isn't, it isn't. " So I'll wait and see what happens, I'm not letting it bother me.

 

Its been on for 70 days or so.

 

been on market for more than 2 months and in 1weekend gets 2 offers..hmmmm real estate agents and car salesman are the lowest form of scum on this planet

 

The agent told us yesterday that it was shown numerous times and no offers so far. I gave him a copy of my pre-approval letter from a local WV bank & a $500 check along with the signed contract. Being pre-approved they know that we are serious buyers.

 

Not horrible though. Took the ol lady's 15 Camry XSE and filled up in bowie and made it back to the same gas station in Bowie on our way home on 1 tank of gas

Might not be getting it due to the seller considering another offer that was submitted today.

 

Something better must be about to come on the market for you then.

 

that sucks. @TRDCoty is right though. Something else will come around if it's not meant to be.

 

pray tell how much time you have spent in the river, as opposed to runnin alongside the river? the upper Potomac has fantastic fishing, as far as eating, only 5-6 lbs cats or any legal sized walleye, would be consumed by me,

 

oh and on a side note, the Md. state record muskellunge was caught on the upper Potomac?

Not sir! You got a frenchie? My girlfriend has ALWAYS wanted one and the family might be getting one tomorrow. Damn things are expensive but cute as hell!
