Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

It's boring going to the gym by yourself. I can't do it. But then again, I made some friends at the gym also. They always want us to work in with them.

 

Yeah I hate it, but I hate missing my workout more.

 

Best bet is to depend on no one, that way it gets done no matter what. If you have someone there that's fine, but relying on someone else for this will end being disappointing over the long-run.

 

Yeah. I've been here every day mon-fri except I think 3 days I took off in the last month and a half. I wake up, text to see who is going as I'm getting dressed and then head out. If they don't go that's on them. I'm seeing a small difference on the scale and in how my clothes fit already. The most important thing to me is that I'm finally getting stronger after having jacked up my ankle and knee and found out about my arthritis. So I'm able to walk normally and have less pain and that's worth it to me. The others are bitching about no results and eating like shit and not making it to the gym half the time. I told them that the membership doesn't work out for you but it was met with some anger. Lol.

I wound up leaving around 10 after not hearing from him. Checked messages this morning and he seemed confused that no one was here when he showed up at 11
