I have a similar issue but not the same. The hole that the bolt goes through it's bigger then the bolt and there is some play. Definitely notice it when breaking

Did you buy your spindles new? If so, how long ago? Seems odd you would have space.

6112 are set on bottom notch. Which should be stock height. Or .25" on 2wd.

    Before maxtracs..just 6112 on 3rd notch I was at 22 3/4"

    I'm wondering if I got 6.5" spindle in 4"box?

So I know this has been hammered a bunch throughout this thread but I just want a definitive answer before I have the whole front end ripped apart... I'm going to be running the 4" spindles with stock shocks for now with no other lift up front, do I need to buy extended brake lines?

Ok guys I'm am the winner of the fucktard award today!!

Just went out and measured again and it settled to 26"! I pulled it out of the garage, and parked it on the approach then took measurements. Just enough to test brakes. Waiting on spacers since my back spacing is 5 so I don't wanna drive it. So all is good thanks for everyone's help.

You are correct I should have known that since I watched a YouTube video of them installing them with 2.5" spacers. My bad.

Yea I bought them new and back in last December, as in 3 months ago december..
I called maxtrac and the guy told me to retorque it. I just don't see how that would bend 3/4 solid iron

Ok, apologies in advance. I've looked back through the thread and cannot seem to find my post about wheel spacers. My new wheels are 4.25" backspacing 16x8"/6x5.5", 0 offset. Will i need wheel spacers up front? If so, what size? And to even out with the front, what size for the rear?

I may be mistaken but I think you'd have the opposite problem. I believe your wheels are going to stick out a touch more since your backspacing is smaller. You would just need the 1.25" in the back.

I think you'll definitely need to extend your brake lines in the front, I know I did.

@TacoMaxxxx Awesome! Thank you for clarifying! Yep, Maxtrac 4" kit comes WITH the extended front break lines through Headstrong. I am going to order the 24" extended lines for the rear. One more question though:

    Front specs:
    - Maxtrac 4"
    - Bilstein Adjustable front strut (1.75" notch
    - 1/4" top plate spacer
stock measurement (center hub to fender) = 20"
With above lift (est.) = 26.25"

    Rear spec:
    - Wheelers 3 leaf AAL (1.5" lift)
    - 2" block supplied w/ spindle kit (2")
stock measurement (center hub to fender) = 22"
With above lift (est.) = 25.5"

Being a little nose high (in this case 0.75") is ok i suppose. Would really like it to sit level. Would it make sense to bump up to a 3" block? (@HeadStrong Off-Road is it possible to sub out the 2" block in the Maxtrac 4" kit with a 3" block?)

Yeah its possible to put together any kit you want with the spindles

Last ditch effort for myself, screw the blocks. Just get Dakars and be done with it.

    Good luck.

Oh i hear ya. Maybe one day but i have been able to keep the fiancé happy by showing cost SAVINGS instead of getting myself in hot water with cost INCREASES. Once @HeadStrong Off-Road can confirm, maybe i can put a note on my order if possible then i am pulling the trigger TODAY!

Dammit @ChadsPride posted before I could reply on his behalf to get Dakars  I got AllPro standard leafs for 3" of lift. Stock Taco leafs suck, they sag at the thought of weight. I got an AAL and a year later was back to almost no rear lift.
