It was a good weekend! What else is a depressed snowmobiler supposed to do when it's 70 in February? Buy a motorcycle of course! I will pick it up next week since I am headed to northern Maine on Wedensday for a snowmobile trip and to see the CanAm sled dog race.

My first Kawasaki ever and I've owned over 10 bikes in my life:

I also put in the ultragauge above the rear view mirror.....next is a matching wheel for the spare, then weight distribution hitch for the incoming trailer..........which has been delayed a month

 

Like for all the stuff, but dislike about the trailer delay.

 

no worries, don't need it until the first trip in July.

 

I thought of it but I have one area rug in my house, so really wouldn't get the use plus having to store it.

Can't win with the brake system on this truck...
Over the last week the ABS light has been going on/off periodically but I forgot to check it saturday when I had the wheels off.

this morning I go to drive any everytime I hit the brakes under normal driving conditions the ABS kicks in and the truck takes forever to slow down. Even from 5mph with just light braking the abs kicks in. So I pulled the fuse, checked for leaks and just kept driving. I really hope I didn't crack one of the rings on the axle's (hopefully its just a dead sensor). Having the dealership take a look at it tonight - I just don't have time to fuck with it.

I'd be perfectly fine with no ABS on the truck but both the ABS and Brake light next to it are on now.

 

Did you disconnect the wiring at the back of the hub when you did the brakes/ or hit the wires at all?

 

I only worked on the front brakes/lines and the rear lines between the frame line and the axle mounts - I don't think I hit any of the wires but I could have during the bleeding process on the rears. As for the fronts I made sure not to touch the abs sensor because I learned the hard way on my evo.

It is comfy. And it's a rocketship. 153 Horsepower and 100 ft lbs of torque. And that's stock, I will give it another 15-20 with a ECU flash and exhaust.

 

it's pretty much the same thing as the zx14. great bikes

 

I hope so, it's not new, I hope the previous owner didn't beat it up too bad. It runs and rides great so that's all I can go on.

 

npd seems to go through their bikes well, and disclose everything. they have a good rep

 

Never been there before, I brought a buddy's bike there a month ago for him in my trailer-he's dying of pancreatic cancer and needed to unload it quick- that place is amazing! A far cry from the used bike places I have seen in the past, this place is clean, huge and organized. Guy I was working with said they are one of the biggest powersports sellers on Ebay, they move a tractor trailer of bikes every 2 days.
