Orange County CAF's: up to no good

So, I'm wondering if using an impact instead of a breaker bar would work. Yesterday when using the breaker bar the bolt literally was sized to the sleeve in the bushing. Or, I just grind both ends down and get a new bolt.

 

The front bolt that goes through the frame support and the leaf. It's sized to the sleeve inside the bushing. Literally the last bolt I went to take off last night. I had to put the whole side back together to put it in the garage. I have work off today so I'm hoping to get it worked out.

 

Is the impact air or electric? I found air to be a bit more choochy than electric...

 

1/2 electric.

It came with all the new bushings and stuff. The other side was a breeze. It's literally this one bolt seized to the bushing sleeve that's the problem.

 

Or weld washer..

 

@icetreye and I had a set of lugs on his truck that were hung up good 'cause the monkey at the tire place used the air wrench to tighten them down. Fucker was bound up good and my 1/2" electric nearly broke ear drums trying to crack it.

A few seconds with a cross-wrench and it was broken. Can't beat 1 asshole power I suppose...

I'm on the phone with a bunch of places right now. If I can't find it I'll just get one to use for a bit until I get one ordered.

 

HB. Both HB and Costa Mesa don't have it.

 

Thanks for that man, I appreciate it. That's what I was running into. I just got off the phone with Mcfaddendale Hardware in Santa Ana and they have a Grade 8 bolt the same size.

Unrelated but odd to think we both live in HB and haven't spotted each other yet

 

I HAD the same problem a couple weeks back I tried everything impact, heat etc ended up having to cut it.

No going up main divide there's a part that I always get stuck on, result is to put a bunch of assholes in my bed to add extra weight and hit the pedal hard!

Nick was stuck in a rutted muddy part of Main Divide and like 4 of us just jumped in the bed and he managed to accelerate through it

 

Ok I'm at the store and I know I should have taken the bolt of the other side. Can anyone tell me what the bolt size and length is for the front leaf spring frame bolt? I'll owe you!

Right now I have a 9/16x 4/12" fine thread grade 8
