Okay, I'll have to look when I get the truck back. I have noticed better response! Very happy with it overall

 

I didnt think of it as such.... but if you all liken my response to the "butt dyno", please disregard that post. I hate butt dyno claims, they are worthless.
Sometimes things sound different in your head i guess, and again, butt dynos are worthless, good call.

Got it. This is used one from ebay.

Then I should arrange some time for install the cam gears. Maybe I order Spec-U headers for the same maintenance pause.

 

All I know is, the stock fuel pump is fine up until you start increasing boost, at that point you'll reach full capacity of the pump flow. So unless you adjusted fuel maps and changed your injectors, swapping a fuel pump on these trucks isn't gonna net you an HP boost. IE, butt dyno.

Im not biting.
I know the facts, but ill do EVERYONE here a favor and not speak of them as they get threads closed.

 

I can attest to that, after replacing pump my afr never goes above stoich. Interesting to see what the ucon will bring out now power wise.

Also for the other post I'm running 4.56 gears but my fj is a heavy pig running steel bumpers with winch and steel armor plus 305 Mtrs.

 

Bite away, threads only get closed when people take stuff personally. Show me before and after dynos on YOUR truck with YOUR exact modifications with HP gains after a pump swap and that being the only thing changed and Ill eat crow. But I refuse to eat Ostrich.

 

I'm looking at putting 456 gears in next. You think it would be "over geared" for 285s with my S/C? I know some are running 488s on 35s with no issues

 

Nope, facts and graphs were submitted before.... it wasnt about hp, it was about limits. Thats all im saying, i know the gent who posted these graphs watches these threads and if he cares to chime in again thats up to him.

 

The reflash would get it run very lean without the SC and it's bigger injectors. Other way, without the reflash but SC installed, it runs rich if not pedaled to boost.

 

Install the SC, limp over to the dealer and keep your foot out of the pedal and keep the rpms down, youll be fine.
