If you buy the sensors from Tire Rack, they come with the nut and washer - no additional parts are needed.
If you buy from a dealer, then you need a kit for each sensor. The kit includes the nut.

Any tire shop that has an up to date trigger tool can read the ID's. It's a handheld device that you point at the valve stem. Toyota can read them with Tech Stream or a trigger tool if they have one.

When you rotate the tires, you have to push the reset button under the dash (following the procedure in the owners manual). There is no sensor in the spare so I don't know what would happen if you do a five tire rotation.

So I’m at wall mart tire center and she’s in the bay now, they are open on Sundays the only place I know of. They do not charge for this or at least in Birmingham Alabama. I put trd pro wheels on my trd off road same stock tires. If they get it reset this is the best way given that wall marts are everywhere. I don’t have the tool that will read the IDs. Manual reset per the manual isn’t enough. Stand by for results

    Bigc,
While they have the tires off, have them or you write the sensor ID's.
They are labeled on the sensors.

Alrighty will do, turns out the tire shop I went to destroyed one of the tire sensors that wasn’t even from my truck, it’s a brand new truck as well. They will see me tomorrow and reimburse me for this job guaranteed. Wall mart has been great and again no charge other than the new tire sensor those dick heads broke.

I got new wheels installed on old tires at Costco for $50 IIRC. I like the idea of the pressurized sensors under the seat. Im debating getting a set for desert fun and one for street driving. I hate to admit I like airing up and down using the tpms.

That could be the case. But I also want a useable spare for tire rotation. Now I’m here trying to find the correct tpms for one wheel (alloy)
