Lucky you. I can see the appeal of it if say you have like an indoor fireplace, you don't smell like fire after.

But other than that it's not authentic. Definitely doesn't spike my adrenaline like real wood does.

But I could stand to lose a few pounds. I had a hard time snowboarding this year and I'm really feeling it on the trails. It's hard to get out when it's raining all the time. Plus I'm so used to getting that excercise in I've been eating/ drinking whatever I want even with low activity. It's shitty. Started doing floor routines inside, that's when you know shit got real.

That's not bad! My dad is your age! They still ride bikes, go hiking/ fishing/ camping and skiing!

 

It's all I can do to work a full time job and farm. Don't have the "want to" any more. I do hike from time to time when I get the tractor stuck and I have to walk back to the house!
