So talk to the sales people when you return it and discuss a swap or trade it doesn't hurt to ask. They'll either give you numbers you like or they won't. Have them swap the mudflaps over

Don't get me wrong I buy shit I don't need or deserve and I understand most here work hard for what they have, but I think some people need to sometimes take a step back from TW reality and look at reality outside the forum. Like plenty of people would dream of having a new $35k truck. Plenty of people would dream of living in a country that's population holds 1% of the world's wealth, etc. etc. its so easy to close your mind and get tunnel vision on what you don't have instead of what you do have, especially in this case of basically the same truck. Too many here trying to attain the latest and greatest, the mod they have to have, etc. etc. OP this may be tough but if you take the $1500 you were gonna spend on down payment, locker, etc. and donate it, pay for a scholarship, feed some hungry people, clean drinking water in another country, etc. I bet you'll get way more satisfaction and reward than that new truck.

well ok then don't I thought you liked them. It's really a win win both are great looking trucks. If there is a depreciation value on your current truck because of the repairs caused by safelite make them pay that so you have more value towards the other one

It's even worse in the MX world, tons of kids with new bikes, families with $200k toy haulers, newest gear, etc. I used to be like that before I hit 30 and had a new perspective of who I am, want to be, the world, etc. Shit I had a new truck and dirt bike every other year. Now I ride my easy to rebuild 10 year old technology 2 stroke. Sold all my bikes but one. Going to med school hopefully here in 2 years and just wanting to make the world a better place, we are so fucked as a society, race, world, population, etc. on our current path. I'm a new age hippie. Lol.

My wife is warming to the idea of the tan. She thinks the tan will hide the pin striping better.( My desert peeps will get that one) Also any REAL scratches might not show as much. They really pop with the Magnetic grey. It seams to scratch a easily, and I'm already picking up rock chips. (My AZ peeps will get THAT one too)
And if you look at my avatar, I was doing that the first weekend I had my truck. I go off road A LOT. I am building this truck for overlanding. Mine aint mall rated. So the OR WOULD be better for me.

Scratched the crap out of the A pillars on both sides, cut the headliner, scratched the inner A pillar cover, passenger side, scratched the hood, and didn't install the new windshield correctly.

Life's too short to be unhappy but the grass isn't always greener. Keep what you have and throw the money somewhere else.

If you are worried about scratches...you shouldn't go off-road...just a opinion.
