You can get almost everywhere with a sport that the off road can, you don't need all the gizmos. Just throwing a wrench in you're justification for a new similar truck ;)

I think I need a TRD Pro now, can't off road or mall crawl now with my OR. Time to trade.

No, I should still go off road. I should just try to be carful, and have paint that shows the least.

Those mall curbs got big....just saying. You may need a locker to park...then "oh shit somethings broken" it happens ( not from personal experience)

I like em both, its just gonna come down to what kinda deal they feel like making I guess.
I get the hippies idea of keeping what I got and giving the money I will spend building this truck away. I completely understand their mindset. What THEY don't understand is my need to get as far away as I possibly can, as often as possible, as long as possible. And to be able to do THAT, I will need to spend my money on my truck.

Yes, me too. So even if I keep the grey one, at least it is right.

I seriously doubt you need to do spend/trade for a new truck to accomplish that. But you do you man.

Just like some one stealing my truck and going off roading.
Its my truck, if I scratch it its my scratch. You coming along and keying it is a whole different thing.

Yep, which is why you'll see the smart guy's don't wheel their new trucks, those are pavement queen DDs. Most serious OR guys will buy samuris, old 1st gens, wranglers, etc. they can torment and not give a crap about the paint, etc, to go wheel with.

Well, if mine was 6 or 16 years old, I wouldn't care either. Im not gonna treat it like a city boy truck, but Im not gonna purposefully try to destroy it. And I don't have any interest in hardcore rockcrawling. Im into doing something different. Do I need a capable built 4x4 for what I want to do? Yes. Am I going places so tough that I will damage it everytime I go out? No. Will I get pinstripes? Yes, of course. Should I try to get them on purpose? No.
