Fastest tacoma?

Just saw where a thread was closed because a guy asked whats the fastest anyone had been in a Tacoma. A little quick to jump the gun on locking the thread there mods. No one said anything about speeding anywhere other than a track or closed road.

So I don't think the thread should have been closed. I am curious myself whats the fastest anyone has been in a Tacoma. So post the fastest you have been in a Tacoma and list your mod's. Be sure to post "on a track" afterward so the momerators don't lock the thread.

Performance is an aspect of these trucks- so hold your opinion of it being stupid to go fast in a truck, or pointless- to yourself. Please keep posts to the topic at hand, and don't include how fast you have been in any other vehicle as that is irrelevant.


The fastest I have been is 114. On a track. No performance mod's other than 5100's and K&N drop in filter.

Isn't 114 where the governor cuts in? If so, I expect allot of 114. In Canada its 180 kmh

70 mph in a wash at the desert. Just Billys at 2.5 no sway bar, icon 2.0 resi with 3 leaf add a leaf.

I woke up 40 mins late for work. Did 110 MPH on I-81 N.

 

Any way to disable the governor.. for the track.

Done 102 while eating a taco in the taco.

I heard the fatter the kid you hit, the more temporary HP you gain?

 

Pull out the purple wire from the interior fuse panel. Do not do this if you have VSC.
