Woman behind you is wondering why you're leaning on her truck.

Wasn't actually leaning on it. My friend took the picture from across the street. There have been times when I've approached my truck and thought someone was brushing up against it or leaning on it...

Spotted this in the parking lot of the Acton Trading Post back in like 2012 when we stopped to fuel up the boat. My grandma has a lakehouse close to the trading post...

Does it have air-conditioning? And what kind of mileage are you/were you getting with 4.88s?

No A/C. Didn't even have the split opening rear window.

Honestly do not recall the milage on the 4.88s, it took a small loss over what is was compared to the stock. I was going to go 4.56 when I was getting the front and rear LSDs installed. Stock was 4.10, and the shop strongly recommended going up 2 gear sizes if switching instead of stepping up to the next 4.56. 4.88s on 31s were definitely over geared, it was great off road but not so much on the highway where it was basically like cruising in 4th. I should have stayed with the 4.56 like I had planned.

A/C is actually pretty easy to install in these trucks... My uncle did it in his 1991... And the 1991 still doesn't have power steering or power brakes...

I looked into it, but Seattle area is pretty temperate and only need it a couple days a year usually.

How has that thing survived decades of Canadian winters without dissolving into rust?
