Not really sure, I have mobile 1 in it now but I like the fact that the 0w30 you can get 25000 or once a year out of an oil change..

AMSoil stopped selling their Ea oil filter for toyota, lexus, and some pontiac engines due to them causing the oil pressure light to come on. They sell the MANN filters as alternatives, but they have to be changed every 7500 mi.

Is there a filter that will last further than that?

Not that AMSoil sells, unless you go for a bypass system.

The Amsoil filter for the 4-banger is the EaO57. Amsoil no longer recommends this filter due to the oil pressure/sludge issue stated above. You now have to change the alternative filter at the OEM recommended intervals, I believe it's 5000 miles. The crankcase oil will still be good for 25000/35000 miles depending on which oil you choose, you just have to change the filter more often.

I will continue to use the EaO filter because my wife doesn't put many miles on the truck and change the filter twice a year, like the old filters.

I would not buy an Amsoil filter for a Toyota. One starved my engine for oil and ruined it.

Unfortunately, that's why Amsoil doesn't spec them anymore and recommend the MANN filters for certain Toyotas. Found a link to the TSB they issued last year. http://www.sinwal.com/data/TSB_FL-2009-05-01_Toyota1.pdf
