It's a lesson. I don't beat myself up over stuff that is already done, you can't change the past. Fool me once...

 

I actually have a guy who's a private painter. He's done my Mercedes and G35's, etc.. awesome work. This was an insurance claim so I didn't use him. I am sort of not wanting this truck back. I was never that impressed with it after buying it and now with the accident I want it even less. I am not sure what to really do here.

I've never had an issue in the last 15 years as well.
Actually, sunroof is quite high on my "must haves" now. Have my 2016 Tacoma for sale, and loving all these new vehicles with the "glass roof" lol.

 

Sunroofs are for cars guys not supposed to be on trucks!

the 16 was the last straw...I don't like the direction it's going, so I think I will move on...stop complaining and do something about it lol.
I would consider back down to a 15, but the prices around here are insane...many in the mid $30's!

 

That's why I bought a 17 because the used were not much less. I don't even like my 17 that much and it's in the bodyshop right now being fixed. So now I have a truck I don't want even more. Dumb buy on my end.

 

I hear ya...I made the mistake of assuming they would just naturally be better...ah well.

 

As a long time Toyota guy who is saving up for a 2018 Tacoma with Safety Sense I am starting to question if I should just keep my 2006 for a few more years and just pick up a 4-Runner before it gets castrated with the redesign...

 

What are you going to buy? I cannot believe I ever bought this truck and haven't liked it since day one. I think I want to spend the same money and get something a little nicer and more exciting to drive. For what I paid for this truck it's not worth even close to it. And after owning it, I wasted a ton of money. Cannot get comfortable at all in it.

I'm currently driving a RAV4 which I'm living in the city. It has the safety sense. What a useless and annoying feature.

 

Went in to price one out....they ONLY order fully loaded ones...so literally instead of the appealing $60k price you see advertised, every single one available (or on order) is basically over $80k...and in boring colors...good thing I can be patient I will never spend that much lol.

 

Can't get JBL in Canada unless you get the Limited model.

 

Really only worth getting it loaded anyways with a ride like that.

Bought my trd off road access cab manual with toytec boss lift aal and i Really like my truck and hasn't let me down. I am not to sure why some of you dislike your tacos but perhaps automatics weren't the best idea. Question is if you had second thoughts at the dealer ship then why continue with the deal! This is my second tacoma had an 09 offroad loved it to. alot of what some guys forget is that this is a truck not a car are expecting car like L/per100. I also found out that its important to plug it in anything below -10 or your km/per100 is gonna go out the window the longer you let it idle. To bad tho you guys had some bad luck with your taco's

 

Did yours come with a block heater?
I thought the sales guy said canadian trucks come with one standard.
But I dont see one.
