Alright guys, I was trying to keep this under wraps until it was done, but I'm trying to save myself some cash as well as anyone else that's interested. Last few overland trips made me realize how much it sucks to get shit out of the back of the bed with it fully loaded. So I've been on a mission for about a month now to build a slide system that has drawers built in. I've talked to basically every slide manufacture in the market, and I've really only found one that fits my requirements, and that is Extendo Bed. All of their units are built to order. Basically you dream it up, and they build it. What really sold me on this company is their slide is 110% extension vs 70-85% of most the other players in the market. In addition, any drawers you have built in are 100% extension up to 60". Below are two different renderings I had drawn up.





Both renderings were specifically for my truck. If you notice on the rear of the slide, I have an overhang to fit the requirements of my batteries being in the bed. And the dimensions truly are to fit my requirements for my bed. That said...they can build pretty much whatever the hell you want. Cutouts for fridges, water tanks, built in ice chest, drawers, cabinets, flip down tables, whatever the hell you want. They can build everything with weather seals for those of us that have open beds as well.
That said, in talking with the Extendo Bed, they will do package deals of 3 units or more. They don't have to be the same units by any means, so build to suite your needs. Discounts will be based on how many orders, so nothing set in stone. In addition, they are only a bout a 6 hour drive from me, so I could easily drive up there with my trailer and bring multiple units back to save on freight.
In terms of pricing, the first render above is ballpark $2200 and the second render was ballpark $3300. Not cheap by any means, but when you cmpare it to just the most basic of bedside systems at $1100 with no drawers and only 70% extension, it's not that bad. Don't expect 20% off, but they are definitely willing to work with us if there are multiple orders.
