    yea I work for an agency in DC as well lol

    I miss my old shift work days when I was working ops, I had a 4 on, 4 off schedule... it was great.

    now I'm just boring old Monday - Friday, but it allows me to spend the most time with my family

    That's basically what I am working. 12 hour days when I work. Its not that bad, but i kinda wish i had M-F. If i got more $ for less hours haha, id be for it

    David, just out of personal experience with every Toyota I've ever owned back to a 72 FJ40.....go Toyota. The fluids itself cost about $150 to start (case), so the cost is really good.

    Even though I work in DC, I chose to live in Ashburn which puts my commute around an hour because it has a nice "suburbs" feel

    meh. it's the nature of the job... I dont mind the drive... it allows me to focus for the day in the morning and it allows me to unwind on my trip back in the afternoon.

    plus, I have a 1 year old... so I dont get a lot of reading time, and I can listen to some audiobooks

    meh.... when I lived on Oahu, I wanted as "country" as possible feel so my commute with traffic was about 1.5 hours to get away from the Honolulu area
