I'll tell you what man, when we used to come back north to visit family while we lived in FL we would bring back a bunch of Molson XXX and when people would come over that stuff would end up going like water. GOOD STUFF.

When we move back to FL we will be doing the same thing again.

That's why they make all sorts of beer. Though some of the craft brew stuff gets a little too weird for my taste. Though I do enjoy some of them also. My wife calls me a beer snob lol

My fave beer to drink is Rouge Brewery Dead Guy Ale, something of a micro and kinda dark / thick, but cooking with it is not as good as cooking with cheap ass Bud or whatever. Fine by me, cheaper that way.

225 for an hour and a half in the juice and butter, then put them right on the grill.. I let them crisp up a bit then hit them with a spicy bbq sauce.

yeah I saw a program or something that was talking about inexpensive cut of meat being a brisket...I was thinking to myself...not in this part of the country or people are catching on to the brisket craze and raising prices...

As for the long cook, Ive said this numerous time you guys need to try a quick brisket...3hours on the smoker and 3 hours in the oven wrapped in foil, 30-40 minute rest...still has good results
