I love my Tacoma so much it's like I'm 16 again. And when we were all 16 we bought stupid stuff for our cars just because. Installed some interior LEDs because they were cheap and I just wanted to keep adding parts.

Kit from Amazon. Remote to change the colors. It came with a cig-lighter adapter that control the on/off but I don't like wires running everywhere so I wired it into the fuse block with an add-a-fuse. Now it turns on automatically when I start the truck, but it remembers what color it was last. There were four light bars but I couldn't spread them out in a configuration I liked so I just stuffed 2 under each side in the front. They have double sided tape, which sucks, so I just zip-tied them in. They can also be set to change change color on their own if you like that sort of thing.

I did the same thing but just with clear and added tint on the LEDs so it's dim. I'm waiting to get some more things installed before I post all my pics. I absolutely love it. Lights up the floor.

I installed the cigarette light adapter in my middle console. I ran the wire under the middle console so you can't see any wires. I did it this way because if I want to shut them off I can. If I want to shut the passenger one off I can do that and vice verse on the driver's side. I keep them on most the time but there have been occasions where I have turned them off.

I am looking for a ride not as jittery as the one I have now in the first 2 inches of travel in the suspension. I think that the Hitachi shocks lack compliance in those first 2 inches and I can feel small ripples on the road in back roads that are seemingly smooth. Best I can describe is as a similar feeling as if the front tires were out of balance. Very lively. I know the tires are balanced and in truly smooth roads I don't get that effect. I just wonder if the Bilsteins would be more compliant. Next week i have some time off and I will go drive an OR over those same roads and decide if I will go with the Bilsteins 4600 or go with the 5100s.

Was it pretty easy to wire in ? . Did you just cut the adapter off and use the same wires ?, any info would be great on the wiring you did
