So, I have to sell my truck. Im deploying once again and this time I am selling my truck so the wifey can get something new while I am gone. ALAS, I am going to sell what I can off of it from what I have built up.

I am selling the Unichip now. Before I bought this I was skeptical, but tried it because when your on 18" Wheels you need the extra horsepower and ESPECIALLY the gas mileage. It really works. I went from 14.38 Miles per Gallon to 24.22 Miles Per Gallon. The torque and horsepower went up quite a bit as well. Some have suggested as much as 26 Horsepower and 22 Ft Lbs of Torque. I didnt have previous Dyno Numbers to compare to, but I had significant gains over stock. They are advertised for sale for almost $900. It will only work on the newer styled 2005-ON Tacomas.
Well Worth your dollar. It is currently Mapped for Headers and Cold Air Intake, but UNICHIP reprogrammed it for me for free and they will for whatever setup you may have including stock. Easy Plug and Play
    Check out the pics
    Asking $500

P.S. On ebay right now they are going for $625

Good luck on your deployment, I've been deployed in the past! I had a unichip on a 2005 Infinit G35 6MT and it worked great. My current vehicle is a 2008 4wd 4dr Tacoma Off Rd and I have placed an AFE shoert ram intake, AFE catback, and a throttel spacer. My question is, what exactly is this currently set up for, and how easy is the install? The infiniti was super easy. Thanks!! Mark

Thanks for the well wishes. This will be deployment #4. Lets hope the luck holds.
It is set up for cold air intake and headers. However, you can send it back to unichip and have it remapped for whatever setup you have and they will reprogram it for free. they did it for me.
As far as how hard is it to install....All you do is pop off your glove box and plug it in. Thats it. I didnt know exactly how to do it and it took all of 3 minutes. Then pop your glove box back in.
About as easy as you can have to install and bang for your dollar. There are quite a few guys who have had really good luck with them on Tacoma's.

Hey, sorry form the late reply. I now work in the Cardiac Cath lab, and I am on call 1/2 my life (worth the money for a kid with no degree). Anyway, if you cannot sell this chip, and you take PayPal, AND you can wheel and deal ( I got 250 NOW) let me know. I do prefer PayPal. Thanks. -Mark Phillips, SGT. USArmy 1993-2001

Headed to the mountains this time. Should be outside of Kandahar.
But if we decided to make a stop thru, I will make a pit stop with my boys and give you a shout.

Thanks for your support BeastlyTaco...coming back from this war is so unlike my return from Vietnam. (Yep I'm an old guy) I've been to 5 of these and when I complete this tour I'll hang around for about 18 months then retire (34 years active duty is enough--I got out for 7 years). The American people have been and are very supportive and kind to us GI types, it makes me hold my head up with pride. I believe most of the guys I serve with feel this way and now we don't want to let the folks back home down.

Not asking for anyone to send things but simply realize when an American soldier walks by recognize their freedoms are a result of what they do and where they go.

God's Blessing to the Afghanistan guys as well.

Again thanks BeastlyTaco--just the few words you sent humble me as to the greatness of you and people like you...Damm I'm proud to be an American!!!
